I really enjoyed having both Lisa and Marcilie as facilitators because they have different styles and experiences and I get to learn from both.

The thing I most appreciate about Roots is the reinforcement of Positive Discipline concepts.

I learned a lot. I liked the content of the Roots because we covered different topics and went deep. I’m really happy I participated.

[I value Roots because it allows me to set aside] time to devote to being a better parent. There are always helpful reminders in every class.

I appreciate hearing other parents and their experiences and knowing that I’m not alone! I also appreciate getting new perspectives on old/repeat situations.

I LOVE PD & Roots. Very helpful to recalibrate here. I always “relearn” a tool I had forgotten.

I knew that if I ever had kids I didn't want to do what my parents did. I had all sorts of bad parenting modeled for me. The trouble came when I actually had kids. I didn't know what good things to do instead. So I found myself reacting to bad behavior in unproductive ways. Working with Marcilie and Lisa provided me with a whole new set of actions to try and perspectives to seek. We practiced techniques in class so that it would be easier to do them at home. I learned so much about myself and my children. I keep doing Roots so that I have a monthly reminder and check in because there are always new challenges and Marcilie and Lisa keep updating their information. It's a great way to keep growing.
